The symposium offers an opportunity to gain more insight into subjects related to cancer rehabilitation including:

Interventions on treatment of physical and psychosocial symptoms and late effects

Health behavior interventions and screening for rehabilitation needs

Life after a cancer diagnosis

Social inequality as well as the need to provide rehabilitation to spouses and significant others
The symposium will include keynote speakers, oral abstract presentations and posters addressing a variety of disciplines within cancer rehabilitation. The organizing committee welcomes contributions from researchers, health professionals, as well as administrators working with cancer rehabilitation.
The social program includes a symposium dinner and an opportunity to meet old colleagues and friends and establish new contacts. Furthermore, we will use the symposium as an opportunity to discuss the need for and actions to be taken to establish a Nordic Society for Rehabilitation and Psychosocial Cancer treatment.

The symposium is organized by the Danish Cancer Society, the Scandinavian Journal Acta Oncologica and the National Research Center of Cancer Rehabilitation.
