The Danish Bladder society wishes: 

• to give support to the individual patient through providing information, guidance and contact with others in a similar situation. 
   
• to spread the knowledge of cancer of the bladder and bladder polyps, and to improve the communication between patient and health care provider. 
   
• to contribute by giving the individual patient increased security during the course of treatment.
   
• to hold ERFA-meetings (experience exchange) and INFO-meetings (for information), and participate in meetings at local counselling centres of the Danish Cancer Society throughout the country.
   
• to arrange contact between patients.
   
• to establish local branches throughout the country.
   
• to follow research into new methods of treatment of cancer of the bladder and bladder polyps."
