The Centre offers toplevel training and education to undergradute and graduate students as well as postdoctoral fellows from Denmark and abroad in a stimulating, multidisciplinary and international research environment. The educational role of the Centre is facilitated by the direct university affiliations of J. Bartek (professor at the Universities of Aarhus and Copenhagen), M. Jäättelä (professor at the University of Copenhagen), and J. Lukas (professor at the University of Aarhus).
Ph.D. positions
We are interested in students of biology, biochemistry, biophysics or medicine with strong motivation to explore molecular mechanisms of genotoxic stress. Previous laboratory experience and practical knowledge of the basic biochemical, molecular, and cell biology techniques is a great advantage.
Postdoctoral fellows
Ph.D. and/or MD degrees are required. We expect solid insight into molecular mechanisms of cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, genome instability associated human disorders and/or advanced quantitative microscopy. In particular, we are looking for selfmotivated, focused and independent scientists with their strong opinion and own ideas about ‘hot’ questions in the field.
We offer competitive salaries compatible with the cost of living in the Copenhagen area.
