Workshop: Missing Data and Multiple Imputation

The Statistics and Data Analysis (SDA) group at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center is pleased to announce a workshop on Missing data and multiple imputation given by Dr. Jonathan Bartlett (University of Bath, UK) on March 16-17, 2020

When and where

The workshop takes place at the Danish Cancer Society, Strandboulevarden 49, Copenhagen on March 16, 2020 (full day, 9:00-16:00) and March 17, 2020 (half day, 9:00-12:00).

The workshop is intended for all researchers from PhD level that have basic statistical modelling knowledge and, to gain the most from the practical sessions, participants should also be familiar with statistical software R, even if this is not a requirement for the participation.

The workshop aims to provide a theoretical and practical introduction to the issue of missing data and related statistical methods to deal with it, with particular emphasis on multiple imputation techniques.

The workshop structure will alternate between lectures and computer exercises with the final objectives of enabling the participants to:

  • understand the missing data mechanisms
  • evaluate the effect of missing data on analyses
  • apply multiple imputation methods
