Genome Integrity

Genome Integrity - group photo

The unit Genome Integrity hosts some 30 personnel in 3 groups.

Our research focuses on cell cycle control and DNA damage response, from elucidation of basic checkpoint and repair mechanisms in normal versus cancer cells, up to translational studies, identification of novel treatment targets, biomarker discovery, drug repurposing and design of innovative clinical trials in oncology.

We collaborate worldwide, publish often in top journals and our papers receive over 3 thousand citations per year.
