Research Integrity

The Danish Cancer Society adheres to the Danish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity from 2014 and to the Danish law on Research Integrity from 2017 .

Danish law distinguishes between scientific misconduct (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism) and questionable research practice (i.e. violation of generally accepted standards for responsible research practices). All Cases of potential research misconduct will be handed over to the  Danish Committee on Research Misconduct, whereas those concerning questionable research practice will be handled by an internal committee at the Danish Cancer Society.
