Who is the Danish Cancer Society?

The Danish Cancer Society is one of Denmark’s largest health organisations and works across the full cancer agenda. We combine research, prevention, patient and relative support, advocacy, and public engagement, with the shared aim of reducing the burden of cancer for individuals and for society. That breadth matters because cancer demands progress on many fronts at once. New knowledge must be developed, prevention must be strengthened, and people affected by cancer must have access to support throughout their lives. The Danish Cancer Society’s role is to connect these areas and turn insight into impact.
