Notice of colonoscopy appointment

The laboratory has analysed your stool sample and found traces of invisible blood (occult blood). Blood in the stool can be caused by haemorrhoids, a tear, or polyps in the bowel, but it can also be a sign of bowel cancer. An appointment for a colonoscopy has been made to determine the source of the blood. The letter you received in Danish states where and when the colonoscopy will take place.
